The 40th class reunion was a huge success, thanks to everyone who attended, from as far away as Hawaii, Virginia, Texas. There were 185 classmates and guests, a surprise appearance from Elvis (Geoff Kuchlenz) along with a jam session of our own house band (Gary Zimmerman, Randy McGowan, Neal Naggar, Bruce Mason and Rick Kelley). We missed those who couldn't make it, but hope for an even bigger turnout for the 50th (or possibly the 45th).

On Saturday, October 20th, Mills High School Class of 1962 will celebrate a 50-Year Reunion.

Millbrae and Burlingame teens who became the the first freshman class at Mills High School when it opened in 1958, will be returning to Millbrae this October to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their June 14, 1962 graduation. This Gathering of Vikings alumni Reunion will be headquartered at the El Rancho Inn and Suites in Millbrae, on October 20th. Attendees are encouraged to arrive on Friday, the 19th, in time to kick things off at the school’s 2012 Homecoming Football Game against Burlingame, under the lights at Mills, on Friday night. The Class of 1961 held its 50th Reunion on Saturday Sept 24, 2011, at the El Rancho in Millbrae. 75 classmates, a third of the remaining class, seven former faculty and significant others made for 140 dinner guests. We had a raucous evening. Click here to see the picture!
